Mobile Phone Directory

Is there such a thing as a "Mobile Phone Directory" ? I had a call today from somebody who asked for me by name. I asked who it was but the only replt was "Its a personal call". I again asked who it was without saying who I was so to speak. There was no response so I hung up. Who could this be ? Only 5 people have my number.
