"The Wire"

Hi. Have been recording this programme, and very good it is too. Anyway, set the Sky+ to record three episodes while we were away. The last 3 episodes in the first series. OH helpfully decided it would be a good idea for safety etc to turn all the plugs off at the sockets. Therefore no recordings!! Wouldn't be so bad but the second series has now started, and having missed the last 3 episodes of the first series there's a few gaps need filling in, so to speak.

So anyway, has anyone, by any chance, got the box set of series one, so I could borrow the last 3 episodes. or got it recorded and could burn me a copy? It's not available on BBC iplayer, and it's not being repeted on BBC 3 or 4. Which is pathetic cos the second series only started this week and there's catch up episodes for that!!

or failing that, has anyone watched it and could give me a rundown of what happened?

I don't care where it comes from lol. If you could burn them onto a dvd I would be eternally grateful lol. Let me know and I'll pm you my address, if you let me know the cost I'll sort you out in Brum, so to speak

Moch, I only want to read a synopsis if all else has failed lol. I got as far as keema getting shot. But I want to know what's happened to Di Angelo etc.

Ive got them all ....but to be honest I am not really sure how they even get from the computer to the TV.... tis magic!!! I do have a DVD recorder so if someone can explain how to do it then I will do them for you and post them up.

It on season 2 here. But they are showing 3 and 4 episodes a week, and supposed to be showing series back to back, so it won't be long before we catch up with US, I suppose. I am going to save all the recordings of season 2 till I've seen the "missing" last 3 of season 1, then have a "Wire" day and watch them all at once.
