  • Britains got...............

Well at least 2000 bloody idiots in it at least.
I went with some friends last night to the auditions for Britains got talent televised show.
My friends got there at 3.15 and were well behind in the queue, we were to find out later some people had been there since 10 in the morning.
The rules are you get your tickets off tinternet go and queue, then your counted in.1300 to be counted in, then barriers up, them behind barriers must wait and see if they have any chance at all of getting in.
This is on a freezing cold day by the way just stood outside waiting for doors to open at 4.30.
I fought my way through everyone to get to my friends as they had already had me counted in. All this time I am on my phone trying to find them in all the bodies, 99% of which were taller than me lol. I got to them at 4 and we alll got chatting with everyone around as you do. A couple and their friends had come from Grimsby and Doncaster by train and had to return home on the 9.20 train.
Anyway we were informed of a delay.
Then we were informed that the people from the afternoon session were still in the theatre and we would have to wait till they had come out. This was going to be at least 6 o'clock.
Everyone was perished by this time it was now 5 o'clock and the thought of another hour in the cold was not for us.
We went for a bite to eat and a drink and when we came out after our meal they had started letting people in, this was 6.30.
We joined the end of the queue just to see if we could now get in but no we were not that lucky. We got a taxi home and went in the local pub for a quiz night.
I know the tickets a free and you are not guaranteed to get in, it does state this. I just felt sorry for those that had booked a day off work, paid a lot for travel and wouldn't have been able to watch the whole show anyway.
Learnt my lesson lol if you can't get there by helicoptor and sit on the front row in your own private box don't bother.
