Glad to hear it, Its one of the classic scams, Didnt want you to come unstuck thats all.

You should actually report them to ebay as well,as part of the T&Cs state they shouldnt do this

Happens all the time though, people always send messages offering cash. My theory is, if they do turn up with the cash - great. If they don't - report them to ebay. You've lost nothing either way. Even better if you can get them to pay up front through Paypal. And don't remove the lsiting till the money is in your mitt.

There is the security element though, in no way would I want a total stranger turning up on my doorstep.

Meet em in Macdonalds lol. I have collected before, but only after buying through ebay and paying up front. And i suppose if you sell a car or something like that, you would have to have people turning up on your doorstep. My son sold his last car on ebay, and the bloke came and collected from our house.

Might sound a silly question, but I was lookin at your Sky+ Mocha......do you actually have to subscribe to sky+ or can you just plug in the box? It's something I've been considering for a while, but have been waiting for a decent deal to pop up now xmas is over lol

There's no subscription for sky+, but you have to get a box and have at least the basic sky package. If you want to get it, have my details and say I introduced you, they were doing a deal where if you introduced a fried, the friend got a free sky+ box and installation, and the introducer got £80 Marks and parks vouchers. Not sure what the current deal is but bound to be one. Let me know if you want my details PJ.
