Deller mate - As you know, I lost some friends over there when I was invited to join their "Don't ask" thread, and promptly managed to get it closed for them. I lost some more, and also noticed comments being made about me, and others, when I chose to speak about about "uncomfortable" matters, and when I finally got the Miz User hex put on me.

The hardest bit to bear was the negative comments, though. Apart from a couple of really angry posts to get a response from the mods, I never set out to hurt or offend anybody with my posts. Admittedly, I may have gone OTT in trying to amuse peeps, but not to offend them. So when I read such comments, I felt very hurt and very angry, and I guess a little like you have felt recently.

Please mate, channel that anger into positive stuff. I have been forgiven for a lot of my crap, and I try to remember to do the same for others, in return. Don't do it for them - do it for you. It helps deep down inside.

You could easily have "dissed" me for being a jerk on many occasions, and you didn't. I noticed that. You're not a barsteward, and anybody who thinks you are has clearly made an error of judgement, IMHO. We are all capable of such errors (oh - aren't we just !!!!!), and we all need to be forgiven for them.

Take a break, mate, and don't make any hard and fast decisions for a while.

I, too, will not say goodbye to you here. I always prefer the French "Au revoir."

        ....."Until we meet again."

        ....or even, "See ya, mate."

        Bill.

Besides the Welcome forum I have not posted on this site but after reading the OP I feel touched too.

Deller, I dont know you but I recognise the name. I do know a couple of users here who do know you and praise the work you have done. There words are good enough for me to say what I'm going to say.

Just under a year ago my colleague Buzz and I suffered a similar fate from that site to what you have suffered. The "management" of that site offered to sort the issue out as we were informed by them that they believed in good relationships. When we approached them they stuck their heads in the sand. This made matters worse.

Now I'm not as anti to that site as people might expect. There are some excellent users on there who have contributed greatly to the consumer campaign. I just wish those users were running that site. Had to get that off my chest.

What I want to say is that as an activist as one media person addressed me, quite like being called that, I get great pride in achieving justice for someone who has not got a clue where to start. Its a great feeling and it is not worth giving up because of what some morons have said from another site.

Deller I'm dont know your full story but I would like you to re-consider your decision. Sites like this and mine need people of your calibre. It is difficult to accept a loss because of some minority pillocks from elsewhere.

Apologise to the management of this site for going on. Please feel free to moderate if you think I have gone to far. Lately I have seen a spirit unity of sites that has been missing over the last year. We need to build upon this and not lose out. Thats how I feel.

Finally, Deller, hope to see you return. If I dont, good luck for the future.

Deller, just seen your post, and am saddened that you feel the need to say goodbye. I hope you will pop back in now and then to let us know how you and junior are getting on. In the meantime, if you are looking for a job, I still have a junior vacancy for a desktop label removererererer

I have to say I am really impressed with Deller, as I have looked over on the other sites and he has not been on any since.
I would find it hard not to have a look at a goodbye thread to see if everyone has said nice things about me!

So it's pointless saying "bye" because he isn't looking - or using another name, so it's still not "bye".

Never really got to know Deller, but know he had serious problems at home and still made time to help out on several sites. A lot of people benefitted from his help.
He will be missed by a lot of people.
                      Hope his life goes well,
