  • FCA accountable to whom???

Just out of interest woud like to know who the FCA is accountable to.
The FCA register misrepresents that Sygma Banque is registered in UK as EEA authorised, yet Sygmas entry should have been cancelled when it closed its UK business on 13th July last year. https://register.fca.org.uk/ShPo_Fir...000000MfLOAAA3
Several months ago when I queried Sygma's register entry FCA claimed that the entry would remain on the register until the French Regulation Authority instructed FCA to remove it

Treasury / parliament I believe, should be on their website somewhere.
If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need. Please do not hijack another person's thread as I will not respond to you

They have a duty to answer any reasonable questions from joe public but, not to intervene. If you do not like their answers then, there is a complaints procedure that ends with the Complaints Commissioner.

I hope they have improved since they made a pigs ear of my enquiry.
