I've had a letter passed to me, with an invitation to post it on our thread; so
here it is:
Dear Sir
Thank you for your letter to members of the Treasury Committee regarding the
FSA complaints handling waiver. I have been asked to reply and I apologise for
the delay.
The Treasury Committee regularly conducts sessions with the FSA; the next is
on Tuesday 22 January on theist Annual Report. The committee has no immediate
plans to examine the regulation of financial services in general, but I will
draw the suggestion to the committee's attention when it next comes to consider
possible subjects for future inquiry.
