  • Scaffold blocking signal

I have just erected a scaffold in Glanton, Northumberland and a very snotty lady in the bungalow opposite said her sky signal has gone. When I stood under the dish and looked at the direction its pointing, it does point directly at my scaffold. There is a 'standard' or vertical tube directly in line of sight, said standard is integral to structure and goes from top to bottom which is 3 x 7ft lifts and a 4ft lift so 25ft of standard basically, this CANNOT be moved without a lot of work which I am not willing to do. It is by pure chance it has landed where it has and I don't think it is up to me or my company to sort said signal. Any advice for this snotty lady please?

    Hi LSHEP14

If the 'scaffolding' is temporary, maybe an idea if the dish could be moved 'slightly' temporarily (I'm not sure about the difficulty, dish set up at the location or whether re-scanning for channels might do the trick) until the 'scaffolding' is removed.

Well if your scaffolding is likely to be present for some time she could arrange for the dish to be moved, either by Sky or a local installer (possibly cheaper and probably quicker than through Sky)
Nothing to do with you, unless you offer to move the dish yourself!
