    I received a letter for parking charges in my partners name because he's the registered owner of the car I was driving I wrote to them stating I had not received any penalty notices from them which I hadn't they have taken it to the county court business centre I had to write a letter to the court in my defence but I havnt told them who was driving the car I have now received a letter which says notice of proposed allocation to the small claims track it states it's now a defended claim the defendant has filed a defence they are asking for it to be mediation which is over the phone I don't no what to do from here has my partner wasn't the driver and he works full time and isn't allowed to take phone calls in work he leaves home at 5.45am and isn't home until late 7.30 pm due to travelling can I take the phone call from them has I was the driver but I havnt told them this and what do I do has I can't ignore it is have to reply before the 16th December 2016

    Whilst you can deal with this by letter for him, if it goes to court he'll need to be there as it's in his name.

    Can you sanitise the claim form and post it up here. Also the original PCN if you have it (although it sounds like you're saying you never got one ?)
