Hi was wondering if anyone could help. 8 months ago I went into labour at 41+4 weeks and after complications my daughter was still born 2days after. I had my normal maternity leave at work (I work for the delightful prison service) and returned to work after 5 months of losing my daughter. It is now 8months past that horrible ordeal and I am 16weeks pregnant again, everything was okay but recently I've started struggling to cope anxiety attacks, fatigue, loss of concentration etc and got signed of with prenatal depression by my GP. I have only been off for 2 weeks and my manager has contacted me on a regular basis saying that the governor requests me back seeing as she thinks pregnancy is not an illness and she can't see why I'm not fit for work she knows my past history by the way. My manager also rang for numerous other petty things and to inform me I have now been referred to Occupational health as she wants to double check my depression is pregnancy related and if not to consider me for ill health retirement! I'm still signed of sick and my OH appointment would be coming up soon, what do I do? Thank for all help given!
