I received a MET parking charge for being in Mcdoanlds for 113 minutes rather than the advised 90 minutes that was allowed. I have a £100 fine or £50 if I pay within 14 days. I was a customer at McDonald's and we did purchase food and drink from them so I really don't want to pay this fine, the car park wasn't at all busy as it was late when we arrived, we arrived at 10:29pm and left at 00:22am. Help please!! X

Have you contacted the manager of McD's to ask him to cancel? Since it was late were the signs lit so that you could see them without problem?

I haven't spoken to anyone regarding the ticket apart from this forum so I'm looking for some advise as what to do next? X
