      Brilliant comment in DM lol

Tax his land, tax his wage, Tax his bed in which he lays. Tax his tractor, tax his mule, Teach him taxes is the rule. Tax his cow, tax his goat, Tax his pants, tax his coat. Tax his ties, tax his shirts, Tax his work, tax his dirt. Tax his chew, tax his smoke, Teach him taxes are no joke. Tax his car, tax his ass Tax the roads he must pass. Tax his tobacco, tax his drink, Tax him if he tries to think. Tax his booze, tax his beers, If he cries, tax his tears. Tax his bills, tax his gas, Tax his notes, tax his cash. Tax him good and let him know That after taxes, he has no dough. If he hollers, tax him more, Tax him until he's good and sore. Tax his coffin, tax his grave, Tax the sod in which he lays. Put these words upon his tomb, "Taxes drove me to my doom!" And when he's gone, we won't relax, We'll still be after the inheritance TAX!

How ironic the right wing rag the daily wail has jumped on the bandwagon.

However, what he did was legal at the time, how many of us, if we had the money would really not use tax loopholes to avoid tax liability.

I would like like to say I wouldn't but .......

              Re: Dodgy Dave? Lol!

Tax loopholes are there for the rich to utilise purposefully and any of us would use them if we had enough money. If anybody thinks the current ones wouldn't be replaced with something else then they are living in cloud cuckoo land. And yes they were legal at the time and they might not have been in government at the time so there is a legitimate reason for using them. The question is though why after evading and denying things did he finally come clean. The lies are worse than the actual problem. Osbourne said he didn't earn enough to benefit from the tax changes and lo and behold he released a tax return that shows he did. So what solution has been dreamed up, punish a low paid scapegoat who works at a company that helps implement these tax schemes. Even though I would say had problems with Tory policies I cannot have problems with them because most don't get implemented because they backtrack and do something that they didn't get voted in for. the lot of them couldn't lie straight in bed.
