  • Where do I stand? Single parent.

I'm a 36yr old woman my ex partner left when I was 5 months pregnant and has a partner who he is with who he previously had two children with. Our daughter is 17 months old. He recently got back in contact after no contact at all in the last 17 months. Admitting he done wrong. He hasn't contributed at all to our daughter financially or otherwise. He's never met her. His partner didn't know of our daughter and due to him again changing his mind about being in her life and blocking my number/email address I told her. I have email conversations where we discuss our daughter but he has told her that she isn't his and has pretended we were never together. What should I do? I am happy to do a DNA test as she is his child. His partner presumably now ex after this has said she has left him. I don't want to leave it at that even though I am extremely cross he walked back into our lives again and walked back out. What should be my next move? I think he should be supporting our daughter as I have bought her up single handedly. Any advice will be great fully received.

Yes he should support his daughter, no he doesn't have to have contact with her. If he denies she is his then why should he have contact?

Been through this with my daughter and granddaughter for the last 12 years.
