  • Lowell finacial

    Hi all

I have read many posts about Lowell finacial and that they are not a company to worry about. However they have been chasing my partner for as long as I have been with him and the latest letter says it's a pre-legal assessment. They have said they have looked into his circumstances and know he is working and are threatening court action. I'm not sure I can keep on ignoring this 😕 He's moved house and they managed to find him and continue sending letters for multiple debts he gets about 4 a month. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi So40 chick & welcome to LB

    A 'pre-legal assessment'?

Lol! - they make it up as they go along!

It does sound, though, that you need to start getting your 'ducks in a row'

Have you any details re these alleged debts (Types - credit cards, loans, etc; copies of agreements, T&Cs, statements, Notices of Assignment, Default/Termination Notices, letters etc.)

Ok, at the moment Lowells are just :fish2:

If it were me, I'd obtain as much info as I can (without contacting them at the mo.)

Do you have any records of the alleged debt?

If not, records may be obtainable via a bank.

If you have details of the card, you could obtain records/data via a Subject Access Request to the original creditor. (It will cost you £10)

It's my partner they're chasing. I'll check with him when he gets in. Thanks for the advice 🙂
