  • pension Credit overpayment?

Hi. I've been receiving Pension credit for a few years but had a change of circumstances in January 2015. I've notified DWP 6 times in writing since then, sending letters recorded delivery so I know they have been received. I can't get them to respond to me and I am really concerned a massive overpayment may be building up. Will I have to repay back any overpayment back to January if and when they finally reassess my claim and get back to me? Many thanks Tim

You could try writing to their Complaint resolution manager at the office to which you have been writing.
Mark the outside of the envelope "OFFICIAl COMPLAINT"
Refer them to https://www.gov.uk/government/upload...032-112014.pdf wherein they state:
"When you write to us, we aim to give you a full reply:• within 10 working days of getting your letter, or• within 15 working days if you are complaining aboutour service".

As they are so slow in responding to your change of circumstances I would, in your shoes, challenge any demand to repay an overpayment caused by their dilatoriness.
