I live in a small public road with houses one side and a grass verge with trees the other: it is approximately 4 metres wide and the non road side shares a boundary with two houses. One of the owners is talking privately about taking the land the other side of his fence. He is a nice man but always needs a new project. His plan is to lay a concrete base and erect a single story building ( variously named as a shed or home office) plus a two metre fence almost at the curb edge. What are my options fir keeping this land and the trees public?
