"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

Anyway, wrote to the Chancellor about Welcome Fin. today (e-mail letter can be found in 'Campaigns')
£200m of market abuse is not enough for criminal sanctions to be imposed?
Similar figure to Barclays' £290m fine for Libor manipulation.
It's all keeping the government and subbies in business (and out), but who pays?

I have a question, it may not be the right thread to post this and it may be too soon to even ask, Does anyone have any ideas what the latest crisis in the banking *Libor* rate fix means for those with mortgages and loans as such???? What I mean is for those who were forced to pay more for something that should never have happened??? Would be compensated or is it a case of thanks for paying us too much we are now enriched and NO you cant have of any of it back or be compensated!!
