    This case may be of interest if the Supreme Court accepts there can be a claim for malicious prosecution in tort [MENTION=55034]nemesis45[/MENTION], [MENTION=6]Amethyst[/MENTION].

    It could prove quite useful in cases where creditors or debt purchasers are being chased for debts they do not owe. Whichever way the decision goes, it will rest on those decisions by Lords Mance, Reed, Toulson and Clarke.
