Npower to pay Ł26m after Ofgem probe – BBC News

Energy firm Npower is to pay Ł26m after sending out inaccurate bills and failing to deal with complaints correctly, Ofgem has said.The energy watchdog said Npower “failed to handle complaints effectively within a reasonable timeframe”.Npower’s billing issues affected more than 500,000 customers between September 2013 and December 2014.Ofgem said the Ł26m would be divided between…
