I think it is very easy to make such comments from the safety of your home having never faced death from numerous points of fire, IED's, grenades, mortar rounds etc.

Once an attempt is made on your life, you tend to view anyone in the vicinity as a threat.

But I live in my world and you live in yours..............and i am lucky that i have never had to face those sorts of threats so therefore can only give a comment based on what i read and research.
