Re: Sky under investigation for not letting customers cancel – Telegraph

I had an interesting experience with Sky very recently, considering going on to the " superfast" broadband and phone Sky whilst online to the account we've had for some time, the " nice lady" checked all the details including the current broadband speed and told me I did not need to change as we had a service very close to superfast and not to waste money on an upgrade.

Then when discussing the package we have Phone, TV and BB and the programmes available there were many that since our family moved out that were never used, discussion moved to cost and the £50.00 per month we pay expressed my feeling that I would like tp make some saving I was asked how much do you want to pay for what you have now, quick reply £35.00 answer OK that's what we will do from next month, it was done and that's what we pay without change to the package a " one off" or new customer care policy ??##

That tells me that it is not the company at fault really its the person and personality that cause the problems.............a few look at the problem fairly ......most don't give a dam...........they make money from sales percentages.
