    This is tough because it is horrific for those who desperately need the services of a solicitor but on the other hand they have to make a stand. We all know how drastically the budget has been cut and unless one actually commits a crime you will struggle to get free legal aid.
    We can now add legal counsel to the list of things that only the wealthy have access to. So you need to be rich to go on to third level education. You need to be rich to go to a clean well managed hospital and you need to be rich to fight injustice or defend yourself against the ‘big boys’.
    Even the Cratchit family would say ‘for f***s sake’.

    An optimist is someone who falls off the Empire State Building, and after 50 floors says, 'So far so good'!
