    Maybe a bit more to this than just the loan, if not then how sad is it that a life is not worth more than a few hundred quid and why was there no help for the poor lad.
    His parents and family must be distraught and I really feel for them.

      Very sad Very bad that this happens in this Country in the 21st century .
      Have to wonder how many others in Debt small or large sums are near to doing this the whole subject of borrowing and the entire debt industry needs a shake up until a sensible approach to this industry is forthcoming we will read of more cases .
      Sympathies to his family from me and I expect most of those on LB.

        This situation is all too familiar I'm sorry to say!
        It's time for real and effective action to stop PDLC's
        from escalating the debts to totally unreasonable
        levels that cause such extreme stress and desperation.
        I add my sympathies to the young mans family!
