    Hi miss fm. Am no insurance expert but i dealt with many claims when a property manager.. reading the link, the owners should have acted sooner. A landlord or agent can gain acsesscto a property after 3 days written notice. I suspect the insurance co would look for any angle to get out of this... had dealt with similar... as long as we reported to the police as soon asvwe noticed. Then started possesion. The insurance would pay up easy enough..

    You would be sipprised how oftern the ll is in the loop in these situations.

    I had a fight with my own insurance over a subsidence claim 2 years ago. So o know how difgicult they can be
    crazy council ( as in local council,NELC ) as a member of the public, i don't get mad, i get even
