    Emmm, this is a bit puzzling.
    People living in PE7 0, which covers Coates, Hampton,Folksworth, Yaxley and Whittlesey in the Peterborough area, have the highest level of personal debt per head at £1,978 per person. The British Bankers’Association and the Council of Mortgage Lenders compiled the figures on household debt across more than 9,000 postcode sectors.

    The BA1 9 postcode area has the highest level of personal loans per person in Britain. Each owes an average of £2,311, according to the latest data from the British Bankers' Association (BBA).
