Customers should be given a code number which only they & the bank know AND told any caller from their bank will quote said number to confirm they are who they say they are. The client should be advised that they will never be asked for it and that the bank caller MUST quote it to them and if they don't hang up & use another phone to contact the bank to notify them of the attempted fraud
