I had a speeding conviction on my licence & the insurer tried to say I hadn't disclosed it. I had sent my original paper licence to them which showed the endorsement so I asked "why would I try to hide it when I'm sending you the original licence" their response was "ah! but you didn't tell us over the phone" to which I responded "ah! I don't have to" response "why" "because its over 20 years old and therefore spent you moron response "we still want another £80" my response was "Get lost". I went elsewhere who's response was "Oh! we are only interested in the last 5 years"
