      I have recently started to get cash out at the beginning of the week and paying for food/fuel in cash. Paying by card the figure you see on the receipt is barely more than a number but paying by cash gives you a much better idea and realisation of how much you are forking out.

      Maybe if we used cash more and cards less we would all be able to budget better and less in debt........
