    Can't say I'm surprised people don't seem to realise we are moving into a society where everything is being paid electronically what with direct debit this, standing order that, card payment for this and direct transfers cash is no good anymore. If people think that banks have too much power now wait until you need them for everything, gone are the days where you could go and pay over the counter for things and in some places you feel like they don't really want to except cash. Before I was bankrupt I didn't realise how difficult it was to get a bank account now I realise how the poor and unlucky are going to suffer more and no political party wants to start a state bank that people could use for basic needs for free.
