  • Councillor in Disabled Children Row Resigns... Again

Outspoken Cornwall County Councillor Colin Brewer who sparked outrage with his remarks that disabled children should be "put down" has resigned, as a councillor, for a second time, after making further and equally outrageous remarks about disabled children.

Having worked with disabled adults and children, my personal opinion of Councillor Brewer is that steps should be taken to prevent him from ever holding public office again. His remarks were not only extreme, they had sinister echoes of Nazi Germany. People fought and died so that the likes of Councillor Brewer were free to open their mouths and say what they like, but also to ensure the evil of Nazism never walked the face of Europe ever again.

But, Wales, a****holes are useful. Although it does make one wonder which end of his alimentary canal Councillor Brewer is speaking from.
