      We have seen similar before, havn't we!?

      I heard such a tragic story recently re: a well known payday lender; on every high street...
      One is astonished about how the OFT can allow such disgraceful bad business practice to go on and go on unchecked?

        That's because one fails to realize that the current legislation under which OFT operates means that it was not designed to provide a supervisory approach to addressing potential consumer harm.

          The Chairman Margaret Hodge is the spitting image of Jean from Eastenders...lol...and I thought it was her....and thought no wonder why the OFT are so slow on doing things...no offence Jean....who is a lovely character in real life.
