    British Bankers' Association chief executive Anthony Browne said:

    "This is a welcome extension of the Funding for Lending scheme. We are pleased that the Bank of England has taken up a number of our suggestions to expand the scheme in a way that will help businesses in these difficult economic times."The UK’s banks are currently offering some of the lowest interest rates for customers in history and there should be no doubt that now is a good time for businesses to go and see their bank if they want to borrow."

    Lending no

    Was the last bail out not conditional the banks started lending to business and individuals

    What has happened to that ??
