    I'm not sure which is the more ridiculous, the fact they tried to implement this or the fact that not one of them had the common sense to foresee the problems it would create.

    I wonder what the councillors collective IQ is?

        As it's Canterbury Council, it doesn't surprise me. This bunch of muppets tried to tell an LB member that bailiff fees relating to PCNs were not regulated and no schedule of fees was in existence. They went very quiet when the LB member sent them a copy of the Enforcement of Road Traffic Debts (Certificated Bailiffs) Regulations 1993-2003. As far as I am aware, Canterbury Council is still tight-lipped about the matter.

          Must admit I did like the comment from 1 wag who suggested if you "trespassed" without the requisite licence then would you have your leg clamped.
