European Union stress tests

The EU's Council of Economic Affairs and Finance Ministers (ECOFIN) asked the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS, the EU umbrella group for bank regulators), along with the European Commission and the European Central Bank, to carry out a second EU-wide stress-testing exercise (the first was in 2009).
