    As a bit of a watch geek I wonder if this will have an effect on the sale of Swatch who incidentally control most of the Swiss manufacture & supply of watch movements

    There's hardly a watch maker who doesn't buy their pallets or complete movements

      As a foot note does anyone realize that the Swiss faked watches long before the Chinese ever did. They copied both from English & American makers in the 18th & 19th century.

      In fact I'm currently repairing a key wind & set pocket watch which has no maker marks & which I think the movement is a fake copied from a British maker. Not a lot of people know that
