    For anyone who's interested in making up their own mind - this is from Monday.

    This goes beyond Fraud (the use of deception to market products that would lose Goldman's clients money - i.e. a deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain), to Gross Criminal Negligence ((law) recklessly acting without reasonable caution and putting another person at risk of injury or death (or failing to do something with the same consequences).

    In the US - the latter if proven can make a director or partner - personally liable.

    In other words it's not just Goldman Sachs the corporation who is in trouble here - Lloyd Blankfein & co. - your house may be at risk if you fail to repay the money you stole.
