  • Txt Alert On Overdraft

Its been reported in the Daily Mirror today thet Bank Customers will be sent text warnings to help them avoid costly overdraft charges. Lloyds TSB will alert them when they are within £50 of their overdraft limit and again when they go over it. If they go back under their limit before 3.30pm they wont face penalties. The text service is free until a £2.50 charge in January. Customers and watchdogs are tackling banks over "excessive" charges and penalties.

Wonder what happens if they allow you to go over on a sat afternoon:crazy:..B

FirstDirect have provided this service for a few years now, it's great when you get woken up at 3 in the morning by a text message telling you you're down to your last fiver
