Harperson is an odious woman and she's delusional in her dedication to "the cause" of women.

Top jobs are not a right, although you'd be forgiven for that kind of thinking given the way our current Prime Minister muscled his way in to the top job.

I find it incredibly difficult to think of a more patronising and condescendingly obnoxious person than Harperson. Who really would want to be given a job or a title merely because of their gender?

No, I mean "person".

Everyone under NuLabour is equal, except some are more equal than others. We must not pre-judge unless it is a woman you see before you, in which case she will clearly be much better for the job, any job, purely because she is a woman.

With NuLabour there is no blame or responsibility - if she is not given a particular job it's because of sex discrimination. It will never be because she simply is not good enough.
