House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee Report

    02/06/2009

    The British Bankers' Association said:

"The British Bankers' Association welcomes today's report from the House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee on banking regulation. We are pleased that, after hearing the BBA's evidence, the Committee agrees that, although reform of the system of banking regulation is necessary, it needs to be carefully considered and taken step by step to ensure UK regulation dovetails with other systems and recognises the international nature of the banking industry."
