    An armed gang has escaped with £6.2million after holding a young bank worker and his family hostage. The 24-year-old was forced to load his car with laundry bags stuffed with brand new notes.

    At least they had the decency, if that's the right word, to turn up brandishing guns unlike the other bank robbers who have taken vastly more before escaping to their mansions to enjoy the fruits of their ill-gotten gains
