    Do these politicians never ever learn.

    History including very recent history teaches us that once a country starts printing money which incidentally has no true value then that's the beginning of the end for it's economy because to survive you need other countries to buy your bonds/gilts & if your printing money instead of creating wealth they simply won't.

    The only way we the ordinary citizen can survive is if the banks so called toxic debts are allowed to default & the banks not us shoulder the burden of the losses. It will mean a radical change in how we manage our wealth but anything is better than what's happening

    Effectively what they are doing is saying to the burglar who having emptied part of your house please come back & finish the job until there's nothing left
