    The City watchdog has defied calls to extend the ban on a controversial stock market tactic known as short-selling. The FSA has revealed it will allow the current curb on 'shorting' bank shares to lapse next Friday.

    I think it's great thing.................. a few more bankers on the dole when their bank crashes Pretty soon the country will own the banks thanks in main to Browns gross mismanagement of the economy.

    He's now claiming he saw it coming ages ago. That being the case why didn't he take steps to try & ensure we could weather the storm rather than increasing the national debt to unbelievable levels.......... It's true what they say like Tone, the Middle East Envoy, (that would be funny it it wasn't so tragic) the guys nuts
