Hi everyone,
I am the NOK and administrator of my fathers estate. He died intestate last year.
We weren't in touch at the time of his passing (he would often not bother with family for a couple years at a time) but based on all the events I know of leading up to his death I believe that the hospital he was in may have caused his death and I am currently looking into it.
I have all of his medical records which I am going to go through soon however, my father fell into alcoholism a couple years before he died. I got loads of different stories from his landlord and different health workers I have spoken to that where in contact with him at the time.
I believe he may have had multiple dealings with the police because of his drinking and would like to get the full picture of events leading up to his death.
And so my question is, can I request a copy of my fathers criminal record/police dealings the way I have his medical history?
