I was informed that i had been left a Legacy in a Will and the Administrators then sent me a Letter saying that there was not enough money in the estate so the Legacies would have to be reduced. Then i recieved another letter saying as to a Loan that the Deceased had forgave in his Lifetime there was no money to pay out any Legacies. It was a Large estate and there was a lot of Money left to Charities and i had heard that some charities had recieved some money although i have no way of verifying this only a News Paper article Stating this. I have written to the Administrators of the Estate several times asking for a Statement of the final accouints and they are refuseing to show them to me saying as i am a Legatee i have no right to see the accounts. The Executors are Solicitor, Accountant, and Family and one is also a Benificary. What can i do to get them to produce the Accounts as i have no way of Knowing where the money has gone and to whom. The will would be in Scotland Law as thats where the Deceased lived and Died and i would like Advice as to what i could do to Redress this.
Thanks
