  • online probate question

Hi there hoping someone can help. I am in process of filling in Probate application on line. It asks questions about teh Executors. The Will had 2 executors who were replaced in a Codicil. Do I need to list these executors as it says list all executors on Will and Codicils. ? If so and i do list them it asks why they are not applying for probate and only gives the option of renouncing or power reserved.

    very grateful any replies

If an executor’s nomination in a will is cancelled by a subsequent codicil, the original nominee is no longer an executor and is therefore not referenced.

As above. The reference to Wills and Codicils would be relevant, for example, if the Codicil added an additional executor but left those named in the original Will in place. But that's not the situation here.

The joys of duplicate threads. I have replied on the other one.
