I was just wondering if anyone knows what is going on with Winchester probate court?
My solicitor sent in an application for estate inventory and accounts, in December '24. Now, nearly 5 months on, a few chaser emails and phone call (which went unanswered besides their auto voice message referring to COVID) and neither my solicitor or I have heard anything from Winchester, other than their automated "we have received your email" responses.
We haven't had any confirmation of my application, so no idea if it's being dealt with, or not, and with absolutely no response from Winchester, I'm currently at their complete mercy, with no other options available to me.
So I was wondering if anyone has any idea what is happening at Winchester court? Is the lack of response from them normal and I just have to continue waiting?
