Tenants' rent money: Executors not collecting

Should Executors be collecting in tenants' rent monies and arrears?

It's 2 years after death (England) and there are at least 3 properties with several tenants not being asked for rent money, copy of tenancies or been given notice to quit.

No probate yet. Caveat sopping that.
