If there is only one beneficiary named in a will which doesn’t specifically mention work pensions are they entitled to claim them for themselves or do these go to the next of kin. Or to the previous spouse that on divorce did not obtain a financial consent order or clean break?

What type of work pension benefit is it? Usually any benefits from an occupational pension scheme which are payable after death are paid directly by the pension scheme under the scheme rules and don't form part of the deceased's EstateAll opinions expressed are based on my personal experience.
