  • Administering my mum's will. What do I do with executors renunciation form?

The executor of my mum's will has renounced and I've been given her completed form. My sibling and I will now be administrators of the will. It's unlikely to need probate as the estate is insolvent, otherwise I'd just include it with the probate form.
Do I just keep it safe? Send it to the probate office anyway? Something else? Google isn't helping.

Send the form to the Probate office with your application for probate. Keep a copy, of course.

Thanks, Atticus. But as I mentioned, probate is unlikely to be needed, which is why I'm not sure what to do with the form.

Then frame it and put it in the downstairs loo.

Or, if you prefer, just keep it safe somewhere in case you do need to apply for probate.

Ha ha! Thanks Atticus. I can't tell you what a relief it was to get that form in my hand. It's been a nightmare this far. So yes, framing it is appealing!
But instead I'll go with your other suggestion. Thanks for confirming that I don't have to do anything more to make it official.
