My husband passed away recently, we had joint accounts and house is jointly owned, everything left to me.
he has a 2 credit card debts which due to his cancer diagnosis and being on benefits was paying a token £1 a month which they accepted and we've not had any communication from them for about 2 years.
Do I need to contact them now to inform them he's passed away and ask for a final figure. I'm still waiting to see if the life insurance he has needs to go through probate or not. Or foes probate inform them?
